What could a Custom System do for my business?

a custom system could essentially do anything that you could like it or need it to and it would be online based.

the best description for this is to take your existing piece of software that is used for the day to day operation of your business. this may be an invoicing program, a booking program, a retail purchasing terminal or even your document server.

you could combine any or all of these into a singular system that not only centralises your business but puts you into the online realm. this type of format can easily allow the addition of a mobile platform to allow for mobile management of the business or mobile use of the previously 'in office' systems.

a basic form of this type of system is a cms website.

a cms website is a content management system that often includes user friendly interfaces for creating content on the website. these types of sites are great for blogs, news websites of business that provide large amounts of information free of charge.

the next step up from this basic type of system is a crm system or shopping cart.

these types of systems often include the same features that are in a basic cms website while also offering a range of advanced features depending on your selection. a shopping cart package will often include a e-news letter mailing program, advanced profile management and secure payment gateway support. a crm system would often provide advanced user and client management while also supporting project management or document management.

the next step beyond this is a custom system.

this type of system is of course exactly as it sounds. it is a purpose built system tailored to your business and your processes. this type of system is essentially about more than just moving your business online it is about reviewing your business processes to increase effeciency, adding value to your customers and freeing up more time to get on with the business.

the primary concept behind a custom built system is to eliminate double handling and to simplify the operations. a properly built system would never require 'double entry' or 'double handling' of information. it is also ddesigned to mobilise your business which is more and more important in the modern day and age.
